FAITH NOLTON
Faith initially received a formal training in art after which came years of further exploration of perception, healing, sacred and tribal art and the practice of Medicine Wheel and shamanism.
Through images and poems she records
her continuing soul journey and guides others in healing and expanding their perception and creativity.
Over 15 years ago she founded Sacred Hoop Magazine (www.sacredhoop.org),to network the growing worldwide interest in shamanism, and continues to write for the magazine and act as design consultant.
SHAMANISM
"When I first discovered shamanism over 30 years ago,I found simple ways of exploring life
that are deeply loving and personally enriching.
This perception had already been with me on
an intuitive level through my painting and poetry.
Shamanism is an ancient natural relationship with life,
in which all things are related, and connected -
a web of energy that is affected by our
actions, thoughts, emotions and intentions.
It is not a 'religion', but enables one to live
in a larger waveband of sacred experience and understanding,
with the guidance and loving support of personal spirit helpers."
